Sus estudiantes expondrán proyectos para preservar los recursos naturales.
Para seguir fortaleciendo la cultura de cuidado del planeta, principalmente en sus estudiantes, la Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego (UPAO) desarrollará en sus campus de Trujillo la feria ambiental universitaria UPAO Sostenible, el 14 de julio, de 7:00 a. m. a 1:00 p. m.
La feria está dirigida a toda la comunidad orreguiana (docentes, estudiantes, administrativos y egresados) y también al público en general. Durante su realización, los estudiantes del curso Medio Ambiente y Desarrollo Sostenible de todos los programas de estudio expondrán sus proyectos.
“En la UPAO estamos comprometidos con el cuidado del planeta y en esta feria ambiental lo vamos a corroborar. Los estudiantes expondrán sus proyectos sobre la conservación y sostenibilidad de los recursos naturales, como el agua, que es un recurso hídrico escaso, el cual hay que consumir de manera razonable y responsable”, afirma la coordinadora de desarrollo social y ambiental de la Oficina de Responsabilidad Social Universitaria (ORSU).
Desde la ORSU, la UPAO promueve el cuidado del planeta y la sostenibilidad. Los estudiantes participan en diversos programas de sensibilización; además, realizan intervenciones en zonas vulnerables, para concienciar a la población sobre el cuidado y la no contaminación de los ríos, océanos y playas, así como la protección de la flora y la fauna.
