Taller de teatro UPAO transmite el pensamiento humanista de Antenor Orrego
“Juventud
orreguiana” es la obra que marca el regreso del taller de teatro de la
Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego (UPAO), en lo que será la primera temporada
del elenco teatral que ofrecerá seis presentaciones entre el lunes 17 y el
miércoles 19 de junio, a las 7 y 8 de la noche, respectivamente; en el auditorio del edifico G del campus universitario.
Gabriel Lázaro Paredes, alumno del
programa de estudio de Derecho, es el autor de la obra cuya trama se desarrolla
en un salón de clase donde se aprecia al profesor de Actividad Formativa IV,
curso que versa sobre la vida y obra de Antenor Orrego, y a una estudiante
rebelde que lleva el curso por tercera matrícula.
Se trata de una obra juvenil que tiene una
íntima relación con el pensamiento humanista de Antenor Orrego, la caracterización
de los jóvenes estudiantes es dinámica y el lenguaje coloquial. Además, presenta
escenas musicales que pretenden encandilar a la audiencia en torno a los
valores impulsados por Antenor Orrego en sus distintas obras.
El compromiso de los integrantes del
elenco teatral orreguiano se ha demostrado ensayando entre horas de clase,
incluso sábados y domingos, “porque sentimos que esta obra es nuestra, y
queremos que logre transmitir el pensamiento humanista de nuestro mentor,
porque queremos seguir su legado”.
La obra concluye con mensajes de Antenor Orrego como “la educación es la base del progreso: cambiar la educación es cambiar el país”, “la política no es un fin en sí misma sino un medio para hacer posible el bienestar de la mayoría” o “el hombre es un ser histórico producto de la evolución social, y no un mero fenómeno de la naturaleza”, entre otras.
