Con una campaña por el Día Mundial de la Salud Mental
Con la finalidad
de inculcar hábitos saludables que promuevan el bienestar psicológico de la
comunidad estudiantil, la Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego (UPAO) del campus
Piura realizó una campaña por la celebración del Día Mundial de la Salud
Mental.
Esta actividad,
organizada por los estudiantes de Prácticas Preprofesionales I y II del
Programa de Estudio de Psicología, se realizó en el frontis del edificio B.
“El propósito de
esta campaña es informar y sensibilizar acerca de los cuidados en favor de
nuestra salud mental, comprender en qué consisten, además de qué hacer y cómo
prevenir las enfermedades mentales”, indicó la coordinadora de Prácticas
Preprofesionales, la maestra Aura Cruz Cedillo.
Para ello se
colocaron un total de cuatro estands, organizados con el objetivo de cumplir
una determinada función. También se realizaron actividades lúdicas, en las
cuales participaron los estudiantes y docentes de los distintos programas de
estudio.
La docente
explicó que el primer estand se encargó de informar, sensibilizar y prevenir;
el segundo, de realizar la promoción de estilos de vida saludable; el tercero, para
advertir sobre los factores de riesgo y medidas de protección. Por último, el
cuarto estand presentó información sobre conductas negativas que afectan la
buena salud mental.
Campaña de OBUN
Por su parte, la
Oficina de Bienestar Universitario (OBUN) del campus Piura realizó una
activación con la finalidad de informar a los estudiantes sobre la importancia
de realizar actividades para conservar la buena salud mental.
