Escolares lucharán por llevarse el preciado galardón en esta primera edición
La Copa UPAO-Mannucci, en
todo su furor. La semifinal de este campeonato interescolar, que convocó a 64
equipos, se disputará en los próximos días y los protagonistas ya viven la
emoción y el suspenso. Uno de los cuatro clasificados por cada categoría (sub-14
y sub-17) será el flamante campeón.
Los encuentros programados por la categoría sub-14 son San José Obrero Marianistas vs. GUE José Faustino Sánchez Carrión y República de Panamá vs. Talentos College. Los ganadores de esta fase asegurarán su pase a la gran final del certamen.
Por la categoría sub-17, lo harán Colegio San Juan vs. Simón Bolívar y Santa María (La Esperanza) vs. José María Arguedas. La fecha, la hora y el escenario se conocerán en los próximos días. Una semana tendrán los equipos para recargar sus energías y volver al campo de juego con la consigna de ser campeones.
Han sido jornadas
futbolísticas muy intensas, con partidos muy disputados, que, incluso, se han
definido en forma dramática, por la vía de los penales. Eso es parte del fútbol
y de los campeonatos. Estamos gratamente impresionados por el talento, entrega
y coraje de estos pequeños grandes del fútbol liberteño”, destacó el jefe de la
unidad técnica de menores del Club Carlos A. Mannucci, Orlando Balarezo Aliaga.
