En las celebraciones por el Día del Arquitecto
La Facultad de Arquitectura, Urbanismo y Artes (FAUA) de la Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego (UPAO) inauguró un espacio físico para el trabajo académico de sus estudiantes, ubicado en el primer piso del edificio D de su campus en Trujillo.
"Se trata de un ambiente agradable, libre de sonidos ajenos al quehacer estudiantil, que cuenta con un piso de césped sintético y jardines verticales, que le dan una vista agradable y que propician la reflexión y el estudio", precisó la directora del programa de estudio, la doctora Rosario Arellano Bados.
La inauguración de esta interesante iniciativa del programa de estudio de arquitectura se dio durante la celebración del Día del Arquitecto, que se conmemora en el país el 8 de junio. Para esta ocasión se contó con la presencia del vicerrector académico, el doctor Luis Cerna Bazán, así como de las autoridades, docentes y estudiantes de la Facultad.
Se ofreció, además, reconocimientos a los profesores que alcanzaron los mayores puntajes en la evaluación docente del semestre 2022-20, así como a los alumnos que ocuparon los dos primeros puestos en rendimiento académico en el mencionado semestre.
También fue motivo de reconocimiento el padrino de la sala de trabajo, Miguel Ángel Carrasco Vélez, jefe de la oficina de Servicios Generales, por su apoyo para la consolidación del espacio de estudio.
Un gesto simpático de las autoridades de la Facultad y del Programa de Estudio fue el reconocimiento ofrecido a los jardineros que pusieron su ingenio y creatividad en el diseño y creación del jardín vertical, que imprime un marco de belleza al lugar. (CGG/RRC – PRENSA UPAO).
