Emiliano Paico Vílchez recibe diploma y medalla por mérito académico e investigativo
Por sus méritos académicos y la publicación de investigaciones, el doctor y docente de la Facultad de Medicina Humana de la Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego (UPAO) Emiliano Paico Vílchez fue premiado por el Colegio Médico del Perú en solemne ceremonia por el Día de la Medicina Peruana, en Lima.
El docente orreguiano fue propuesto por la Asociación de Historia de la Medicina Peruana y Parques Conmemorativos ante el Comité de Distinciones Honoríficas del Colegio Médico del Perú. Luego de una exhaustiva evaluación, el Consejo Nacional aprobó los reconocimientos institucionales.
“Esto me motiva a seguir con mi labor en la investigación científica. Como docentes, estamos comprometidos con la academia y la ciencia. Agradezco al Colegio Médico por tan importante reconocimiento”, precisó el doctor Paico Vílchez, destacado cirujano pediatra.
Su labor médica la complementa con la edición de libros, como Armonía y plenitud del ser: la cirugía en el antiguo Perú y La sexualidad en el antiguo Perú, entre otros. También ha publicado casi un centenar de trabajos de investigación en revistas científicas nacionales y extranjeras; y más de veinte estudios sobre historia de la medicina del antiguo Perú.
