Ingeniería Civil elabora plano topográfico para proyección de áreas recreacionales y jardines
Recreación para vivir mejor. El Programa de Estudio de Ingeniería Civil de la Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego (UPAO) desarrolla un importante proyecto de responsabilidad social. Se trata de un plano topográfico para la proyección de áreas recreacionales y jardines, en el Centro Poblado de Santo Domingo (Laredo).
Esta iniciativa la ejecutan los estudiantes de quinto ciclo, con el asesoramiento de un equipo de docentes, liderado por el ingeniero Edward Oblitas Mori, en el marco de un convenio de cooperación interinstitucional entre la UPAO y la municipalidad de Santo Domingo.
La intervención de responsabilidad social tiene por objetivo vincular la producción humanística, científica y tecnológica de la comunidad orreguiana con las oportunidades y demandas existentes en nuestra región y de todo el país. Asimismo, desarrollar actividades sociales y culturales que contribuyan con la formación integral de los futuros ingenieros civiles orreguianos.
De esta manera, la UPAO suma esfuerzos para cristalizar los objetivos de
desarrollo sostenible, propuestos por la Organización de la Naciones Unidas
(ONU), como el de salud y bienestar, ciudades y comunidades sostenibles, producción
y consumo responsable, trabajo decente y crecimiento económico y alianzas para
