En alianza estratégica con la ONG Go Med, los hospitales MultiCare y la Municipalidad de Florencia de Mora, del 3 al 17 de noviembre
El prójimo
primero. Cien cirugías gratuitas de vesícula y hernia abdominal e inguinal
realizará la Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego (UPAO), como resultado de la
alianza estratégica con la ONG Go Med (Canadá), la red de hospitales americanos
MultiCare y el apoyo de la Municipalidad de Florencia de Mora. Las operaciones
se realizarán del 3 al 17 de noviembre, en el hospital Wálter Cruz Vilca
(Miramar).
“Gracias al
trabajo solidario de nuestros aliados estratégicos y el compromiso
institucional de la Facultad de Medicina Humana y los Centros de Salud que
administramos vía convenio, como el Hospital Walter Cruz Vilca y el Establecimiento
de Salud UPAO-Florencia de Mora, haremos realidad esta campaña, por segunda vez,
la primera fue en el 2018, para mejorar la calidad de vida de la población
vulnerable”, comenta la directora del Programa de Estudio de Medicina Humana la
de la UPAO, la doctora Katherine Lozano Peralta.
El proceso de
inscripción ya se inició en el área de admisión del establecimiento de salud
UPAO-Florencia de Mora. Este se realiza de lunes a viernes, de 8:00 a. m. a 7:00
p. m., hasta el 2 de noviembre. Todas las personas inscritas pasarán evaluación
médica y socioeconómica. Hasta la fecha hay más de 130 personas inscritas. Así
lo indicó el decano de la Facultad de Medicina Humana, el doctor Juan Díaz Plasencia.
“Toda la
evaluación prequirúrgica se realizará en el Establecimiento de Salud UPAO-Florencia
de Mora y las intervenciones quirúrgicas, en el hospital Walter Cruz Vilca,
bajo estrictos protocolos y normativas de seguridad y calidad establecidos por
el Ministerio de Salud”, indica el director médico del Establecimiento de Salud
UPAO-Florencia de Mora, en doctor André Aguilar Velásquez.
A su turno, el alcalde
del distrito, Wilson Toribio Vereau destacó que su gestión prioriza la salud de
la población y seguirá sumando esfuerzos con la UPAO para atender a los más de
40 mil habitantes, incluidos los de los nueve asentamientos humanos que tiene Florencia de Mora. (APB/JPLV-PRENSA UPAO)
