El programa de estudio orreguiano ofreció espectáculo musical y obsequió canastas a familias de escasos recursos
A pocos días de
celebrarse la Navidad, la Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego (UPAO) llegó hasta
el distrito de La Arena, en el Bajo Piura, para llevar alegría y esperanza a
decenas de familias de escasos recursos económicos.
Fue un equipo de
estudiantes del Programa de Estudio de Medicina Humana el que ofreció un
entretenido show musical y obsequió canastas a los pobladores que
llegaron hasta las instalaciones del polideportivo del distrito.
El grupo de
estudiantes fue dirigido por el médico Manuel Arrunátegui Novoa, docente del
mencionado programa de estudio orreguiano. Él es un profesional muy reconocido
y apreciado en este distrito y en todo el Bajo Piura, donde ha realizado
durante décadas una gran labor en salud y educación comunitaria.
“Para nosotros
es una alegría inmensa llevar un gramito de esperanza a nuestros hermanos de La
Arena. La UPAO se ha hecho presente con sus estudiantes para regalarles un
grato momento y esperamos que esta Navidad sea mucho mejor para ellos”, expresó
Arrunátegui Novoa.
Los pobladores de La
Arena disfrutaron de un agradable momento y hasta se animaron a mostrar sus
mejores pasos de baile al ritmo de mariachis. Finalizada la actividad navideña,
agradecieron a la UPAO por tan noble gesto de solidaridad y amor por el prójimo. (NVR/APB-PRENSA UPAO).
