Ceremonia académica y muestra fotográfica también se realizan en torno al aniversario del cumpleaños de nuestro mentor
El grupo de teatro de la Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego (UPAO) pondrá en escena una obra que resalta el pensamiento humanista del filósofo, periodista y pensador Antenor Orrego Espinoza, durante la conmemoración de su natalicio, programada para el lunes 22 de mayo, a las 5:30 p. m., en escenario abierto del Teatro Víctor Raúl Lozano Ibáñez (frente al edificio K).
El legado de Antenor Orrego es el nombre de la obra creada y dirigida por el maestro Francisco Tello, director del grupo teatral orreguiano, que narra la experiencia de un grupo de estudiantes de esta casa de estudios superiores que son convocados en apoyo de una comunidad.
En la historia presentada, los jóvenes tienen desacuerdos sobre las decisiones que deben tomar para generar el cambio favorable en la comunidad. Superadas sus diferencias, los muchachos empiezan el trabajo, pero un nuevo conflicto los espera: el representante de dicho pueblo les dice que el proyecto ya no es factible. Afortunadamente, cuando están a punto de entregarse al desánimo, una voz disonante ofrece una perspectiva optimista de la situación, y es entonces cuando todos reconocen que sus recientes vivencias tenían mucho que ver con las enseñanzas del maestro Orrego.
“Es una obra que ponemos en escena con mucho esfuerzo. Esperamos fortalecer en el pensamiento de los estudiantes de la UPAO el humanismo de Antenor Orrego, porque todas las propuestas del argumento salen de esa fuente”, dijo Francisco Tello.
Actividades
La Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego desarrollará, también el lunes 22 de mayo, un conjunto de actividades con el objetivo de rendir homenaje a su mentor, que incluye la muestra fotográfica “Antenor Orrego, 131 años de vigencia”, en la rotonda del campus universitario, a las 10:30 a. m.
Además, la ceremonia académica estatutaria se realizará en la explanada del edificio F, el mismo día, a las 11:00 a. m. En esta oportunidad, como ponente tendremos al filósofo, escritor y miembro de la Sociedad Peruana de Filosofía Gustavo Flores Quelopana, quien tendrá a su cargo la disertación académica “Las cuatro estaciones del humanismo orreguiano”.
