Con jornadas académicas internacionales, actividades culturales y de integración celebrará la comunidad orreguiana su creación
Celebra la calidad. Con un programa académico internacional, actividades culturales y de integración, la Facultad de Medicina Humana de la Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego (UPAO) conmemorará 25 años de creación. El día central se celebrará el 28 de junio con una ceremonia especial, en el Teatro Víctor Raúl Lozano Ibáñez.
La Facultad de Medicina Humana de la UPAO, que comprende los programas de estudio de Medicina Humana, Psicología y Estomatología, se ha posicionado en la macrorregión norte del país por el liderazgo y excelencia académica de sus egresados, quienes sobresalen en el extranjero y en todo el territorio nacional.
Los actos celebratorios se iniciarán el 23 de junio con su participación en el izamiento del pabellón nacional. Posteriormente, se realizarán las conferencias y jornadas científicas; asimismo, el curso internacional de actualización en medicina fetal y uroginecología. También los estudiantes demostrarán sus atributos artísticos en la noche de talentos y verbena médica.
Su misión es formar médicos cirujanos íntegros, capaces de desarrollar con excelencia, ética y humanismo la promoción, prevención, recuperación y rehabilitación de la salud; asimismo, promueve la investigación científica para resolver problemas sanitarios con responsabilidad para el desarrollo sostenible.
