Orreguianos compiten en examen nacional que convocó a más de 1,300 postulantes.
Veinte estudiantes de Medicina Humana de la Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego (UPAO) ingresaron al internado médico de EsSalud, tras aprobar el examen riguroso de conocimientos. Fueron 428 los ingresantes de más de 1,300 postulantes de 35 universidades del país. El concurso se desarrolló después de tres años, debido a la pandemia de la Covid-19.
El examen de conocimientos se desarrolló de manera presencial, el 28 de diciembre, y en simultáneo en Arequipa, Áncash y Lima. La adjudicación de vacantes se realizó, en estricto orden de mérito, a través de la plataforma zoom.
El internado médico es una etapa muy importante en el proceso de formación, por cuanto permite a los futuros médicos aplicar sus conocimientos adquiridos en su universidad de origen y ponerlos en práctica en un establecimiento de salud.
“Felicito a nuestros 20 estudiantes por su competitividad y compromiso con su vocación profesional, demostrados en el proceso de admisión para el internado médico de EsSalud. Asimismo, les expreso mis mayores deseos de éxito, durante el año del internado médico”, indicó la decana (e) de la Facultad de Medicina Humana, la doctora Katherine Lozano Peralta.
La autoridad académica agregó que este es el resultado de
contar con una calificada plana docente, moderna infraestructura, laboratorios
de última generación y una alta exigencia académica que identifica a la
