Recibe 350 mil soles para continuar proyecto de robot móvil multifuncional
El Consejo Nacional de Ciencia, Tecnología e Innovación Tecnológica
(Concytec) otorgó una importante subvención para la continuación del proyecto
de investigación desarrollado por un equipo de investigadores de la Universidad
Privada Antenor Orrego (UPAO), liderado por el doctor Sixto Prado Gardini.
Los destacados científicos ejecutan el proyecto “Desarrollo e
implementación de un robot móvil multifuncional reconfigurable mecánicamente
para adaptarse a fundos agrícolas con diferentes camellones y entre surcos
variables de la región La Libertad.
El robot móvil
tiene como función ejecutar técnicas de muestreo del desarrollo del arándano en
fundo y la información recogida debe servir a la gerencia para planificar el
periodo de cosecha, la contratación de jornaleros, la logística, transporte,
materiales y herramientas, información vital que redunda en el coste final del
arándano.
El doctor Prado
Gardini explicó que el robot es autónomo y teledirigido; además, genera su
propia trayectoria y velocidad para circular, tiene capacidad para contar,
detectar y proyectar el grado de madurez del arándano en arbusto.
El trabajo fue
presentado en el concurso convocado por PROCIENCIA que, luego de una rigurosa
evaluación de los proyectos participantes, incluyó en la lista de beneficiarios
al trabajo representante de la UPAO, consignando la suma de 350 mil soles de
subvención para continuar con el perfeccionamiento de un prototipo que promete
ser un hito en la investigación científica y la innovación tecnológica del
país.
La resolución de dirección ejecutiva 047, que informa sobre la decisión de otorgar la importante subvención es el reconocimiento público al valor científico de este proyecto que nació en los laboratorios de la UPAO y cuenta hoy con patente propia registrada. (CGG/APB-PRENSA UPAO)
