Exitosa capacitación se desarrolla con participación de investigadores y médicos veterinarios
El Instituto de Biotecnología Molecular y
Reproductiva Animal (IBMRA) desarrolló un importante curso sobre “PCR con
aplicaciones en reproducción animal”, que contó con la participación del doctor
José González Cabeza, jefe de la Oficina de Centros de Investigación, como
expositor principal.
El curso se desarrolló el 25 y 27 de junio;
y tuvo como finalidad capacitar a los participantes en la separación genética
de las células animales para ser estudiados con fines de evaluar las formas de
una mejor reproducción.
La capacitación sobre PCR (reacción en
cadena de polimerasa) se convirtió en un espacio académico teórico práctico en
el que se impartió conocimiento sobre la reproducción animal y la importancia
de la biotecnología en el mejoramiento del ganado, principalmente vacuno, que
es la razón de ser del IBMRA.
Entre los participantes se contó con profesores,
docentes investigadores, investigadores, alumnos y profesionales de las áreas
de veterinaria, biología, microbiología y otros de profesiones afines
interesados en el tema.
Previamente, el viernes 21 de junio se
desarrolló un simposio sobre biotecnología reproductiva animal, en el marco de
la celebración del Día Mundial de la Biotecnología, con la participación de los
doctores José González Cabeza y Helí Miranda Chávez como disertadores.
Intervinieron en calidad de asistentes invitados médicos veterinarios y estudiantes de medicina veterinaria y zootecnia de la Facultad de Ciencias Agrarias que mostraron una participación muy interactiva y reflexiva. (CGG/APB-PRENSA UPAO)
