Los docentes del Programa de Estudio de Ingeniería Industrial recibieron capacitación en el manejo de impresoras 3D
Con el objetivo
de fortalecer las competencias del ingeniero industrial en la manufactura 4.0,
la Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego (UPAO) adquirió dos modernas impresoras
3D para equipar con la más alta tecnología los laboratorios del campus Piura.
Es por ello que
los docentes y técnicos del Programa de Estudio de Ingeniería Industrial
recibieron una importante capacitación en el manejo y funcionalidades de las
dos impresoras de la marca Intamsys, modelo Funmat Pro 410. Estas generan
distintos prototipos de uso mecánico, que son de alta calidad y resistentes a temperaturas
elevadas.
Esta adquisición
significa una gran ventaja en los diferentes procesos requeridos por la
industria 4.0, cuya temática se aborda en las materias de Robótica y Automatización,
Manufactura Asistida por Computadora, Proyectos con CIM, Geometría Descriptiva y
Dibujo en Ingeniería. De esa forma, todo el proceso de enseñanza será más
dinámico y objetivo, para el beneficio de los estudiantes del mencionado
programa de estudio.
El director de
Ingeniería Industrial, el doctor José Müller Solón, agregó que estos equipos
generan un gran incremento de la productividad y la automatización de procesos,
con mucha eficiencia.
“Esta eficiencia
se extiende a toda iniciativa de sustentabilidad. Las automatizaciones
inteligentes pueden ayudar a optimizar el uso de energía e incluso diseñar e
innovar productos que sean más sustentables durante todo su ciclo de vida. Por
supuesto, ello fortalece las competencias de nuestro ingeniero industrial en la
manufactura 4.0”, explicó.
Müller Solón
dijo que, en los próximos meses, la UPAO continuará con la adquisición de más
equipos de última tecnología, pensados en perfeccionar la calidad de enseñanza-aprendizaje
y el fortalecimiento de las capacidades competitivas de los estudiantes de
