Plasma la calle, los museos y los cementerios de la “Ciudad Luz”
El comunicador social,
fotógrafo y docente de la Universidad privada Antenor Orrego (UPAO) José Carlos
Orrillo presenta la exposición Itinerario
de París, desde el 4 de julio, a las 7.30 p.m., en la galería de la Alianza
Francesa de Trujillo.
"Itinerario de París" es una impresionante regristo visual y diario de viaje desarrollado por el autor, durante una estancia de tres meses en Francia y otros países europeos durante el verano-otoño de 2008. La muestra se prolongará hasta el 30 de julio.
Orrillo Puga,
ganador del tercer premio del X Concurso de Artes Visuales Pasaporte para un
Artista, concibió este proyecto fotográfico durante su odisea francófona que
significó, en palabras del artista, “un
verdadero viaje de iniciación y crecimiento fotográfico”.
La exposición se
centra en tres espacios icónicos de la capital francesa: la calle, los museos y
los cementerios de París. Estos lugares fueron los hilos conductores de los
recorridos diarios del artista, transformando su itinerario cultural
planificado en una exploración desbordante de la diversidad fotografiable de la
ciudad.
Durante su
estancia, Orrillo se introdujo en los fascinantes rostros milenarios exhibidos
en los museos, capturando la magnitud del expolio cultural perpetrado durante
siglos. Además, descubrió en los cementerios de París una mezcla alucinante de
paisajes necrófilos culturales, donde descansan las tumbas de los grandes
maestros de su panteón artístico personal. Entre estos espacios, las calles y
el metro de París emergen como arterias subterráneas, reflejando el vibrante y
cosmopolita rostro de la ciudad.
Según el crítico
de arte Alfredo Alegría, las visiones del artista, divididas en tres series,
nos desconciertan e invitan a reflexionar sobre la anomia urbana, el patrimonio
cultural y los grandes artistas.
"Nos enorgullece
presentar `Itinerario de París`, una exposición que no solo celebra la belleza
de París, sino que también fortalece los lazos culturales entre Perú y
Francia." afirma la directora de la Alianza Francesa de Trujillo, Laura
Ayech.
La presentación de
este proyecto representa una tarea pendiente desde el retorno del artista al
Perú, tras culminar su periplo europeo hace más de 16 años.
Finalmente, José Carlos Orrillo expresa su agradecimiento a la UPAO y a la Alianza Francesa de Trujillo por brindar las condiciones para la producción de la muestra y la edición del catálogo correspondiente. Con esta exposición, espera contribuir desde la fotografía contemporánea a la construcción del diálogo cultural franco-peruano y al acervo cultural de nuestra ciudad. (APB-PRENSA UPAO)
