A través del fondo editorial de la prestigiosa universidad privada trujillana
La Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego (UPAO) tendrá un destacado protagonismo como institución propulsora de la cultura en la región durante la I Feria Internacional del Libro de La Libertad, que se desarrollará del 3 al 12 de marzo.
El Fondo Editorial de la prestigiosa institución universitaria trujillana presentará tres obras literarias en el cónclave cultural promovido por la Cámara del Libro de La Libertad y la Municipalidad Provincial de Trujillo.
El libro César Vallejo, Trilce, edición facsimilar, primeras apreciaciones peruanas, obra editada con motivo del centenario de la primera edición del laureado poemario del vate universal, se presentará el lunes 6 de marzo, a las 5:00 p. m.
El trabajo literario, en edición especial de colección, celebra también el centenario del prólogo escrito por Antenor Orrego, que supo reconocer en Vallejo al creador de una estética nueva en contacto directo con la vida.
El libro será presentado por el Dr. Eduardo Paz Esquerre, jefe del Fondo Editorial de la UPAO; el Dr. Juan Villacorta Vásquez, vicerrector académico de la Universidad Nacional de Trujillo, y el Mg. Bethoven Medina Sánchez, docente, poeta y periodista cultural.
Para el viernes 10 de marzo, a las 4:00 p. m., se ha programado la presentación del libro Cerebro, mente y alma, del Dr. Juan Namoc Medina, docente de la UPAO, acto que estará a cargo del Dr. Elmer Robles Ortiz, destacado profesor de los claustros orreguianos.
Se trata de una obra de divulgación científica sobre la naturaleza humana. Nos permite conocer cómo funcionan el cerebro, la mente y el alma y cómo guían nuestra conducta en el entorno físico y social, como en un acercamiento a la neuropsicoinmunoendocrinología.
El tercer libro es Hacia una revisión histórica de la invasión y conquista, del Dr. Elmer Robles Ortiz, y será presentado el sábado 11 de marzo, a las 5:00 p. m., por el Dr. Frank Díaz Pretel, docente de la UNT.
En el libro se revisan y evalúan los documentos y sucesos históricos correspondientes a las etapas de la conquista española del Perú, para entender, con mayor precisión, lo que realmente ocurrió. (CGG/RRC – PRENSA UPAO).
