Centro de Idiomas capacitará a equipo de docentes para iniciar evaluación en marzo
Gracias a su calificada plana docente y prestigio, el Centro de Idiomas de la Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego (UPAO) logró la certificación para administrar el examen internacional Aptis. Su finalidad es evaluar el nivel de conocimientos en expresión oral, escrita, comprensión lectora y auditiva de los candidatos para importantes puestos de trabajo y becas de estudios.
Aptis evalúa según los criterios establecidos por el MCERL (Marco Común Europeo de Referencia para las Lenguas). Este examen ha sido desarrollado por expertos del British Council. Una de sus principales características es que se trata de un examen multinivel. Así lo indicó el director del Centro de Idiomas de la UPAO, el maestro Marco Ly Kcomt.
“La UPAO es la única universidad de la región en conseguir está certificación. Este es el resultado de sus fortalezas institucionales, lo que ha permitido suscribir una importante alianza estratégica con la Business Development Manager-British Council para la administración del examen. Previamente se capacitará al personal docente para liderar el proceso de evaluación, desde marzo”, precisó el director.
La evaluación Aptis es ideal para la selección de becarios que postulan a programas de movilidad académica docente y estudiantil, así como para estudios de posgrado (maestría y doctorado) y puesto estratégicos de trabajo en importantes corporaciones extranjeras.
ENSEÑANZA DEL FRANCÉS
“Otro importante anuncio es que vamos a brindar clases de francés, que se suma a las de inglés, portugués e italiano. De esta manera esperamos satisfacer las expectativas de los más de seis mil estudiantes del Centro de Idiomas de Piura y Trujillo”, puntualizó Ly Kcomt. (APB/RRC – PRENSA UPAO).
