Brindarán asesoría y tutoría a estudiantes del primer ciclo para ayudarlos a mejorar su rendimiento académico
La Oficina de Gestión Académica (OGA) del Vicerrectorado Académico la Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego (UPAO) inició su Programa de Estudiantes Líderes y Tutoría Entre Pares en su campus de Trujillo.
En total, 40 estudiantes del cuarto al noveno ciclo de las carreras profesionales han sido seleccionados, luego de una evaluación psicológica y académica, para participar en este programa de tutoría en favor de sus compañeros del primer ciclo.
“La experiencia nos dice que el programa funciona, al punto de que casi el 80 % de los estudiantes del primer ciclo aprobaron todos sus cursos gracias al apoyo y la capacidad motivacional de los líderes”, asegura Patricia Llatas Chaupe, del área de Tutoría y Apoyo Pedagógico de la OGA.
Los líderes participantes del programa recibirán capacitación de coaching cada 15 días, a cargo de Bárbara Wong, y aplicarán su capacidad de tutoría cada semana con los estudiantes del primer ciclo de sus carreras profesionales.
De la misma forma, 38 estudiantes líderes iniciarán su programa de tutoría entre pares en la sede en Piura, buscando mejorar el rendimiento académico y actitudinal de sus compañeros tutorados. (CGG/RRC – PRENSA UPAO).
