Facultad de Ciencias Económicas desarrolla escuela para padres
“Los padres de familia cumplen un rol determinante en la formación académica de sus hijos. Su misión continua con la educación superior para que ellos logren su realización profesional”, comentó la tutora de la Facultad de Ciencias Económicas de la Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego (UPAO), la maestra Paola Fiestas Dejo, durante el programa de escuela para padres.
La actividad convocó a padres de familia de los tres programas de estudio que comprende la facultad, como son Administración, Contabilidad y Economía y Negocios Internacionales, en el auditorio del edificio E del campus universitario. También participó la tutora Ana María Roncal.
“Nuestros hijos necesitan tomar sus propias decisiones, a partir de la orientación y consejos de sus padres; para ello desterremos la sobreprotección y los apegos afectivos. Darles la libertad para asumir con responsabilidad sus acciones y ser autosuficientes”, añadió.
La docente y tutora destacó que en su interrelación cotidiana con los estudiantes, muchos manifiestan sentir la presión de sus padres por obtener calificativos altos y no disfrutan de la vida universitaria. Otros son el extremo y no estudian; además, sus padres se despreocupan y bajo el argumento de ser universitarios maduros no los controlan.
“Todo extremo es negativo. No queremos papás sobreprotectores ni permisivos, sino que definan normas claras de comportamiento en el hogar, horarios y conversar mucho con sus hijos.”, puntualizó la maestra Paola Fiestas. (APB-PRENSA UPAO)
