Consejo Directivo aprueba proyecto de estudio sobre la inserción laboral al 2026
En la búsqueda permanente de excelencia académica y de satisfacción del mercado laboral regional y nacional, la Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego (UPAO) proyecta alcanzar el 80 por ciento del nivel de empleabilidad de sus egresados al 2026.
Para ese fin, el consejo directivo aprobó el proyecto Estudio Inserción Laboral UPAO 2022 planteado por la oficina Bolsa de Trabajo (BT), con el fin de establecer las estrategias para alcanzar este importante objetivo.
El proyecto busca también alcanzar el 80 por ciento de satisfacción en el mercado laboral al 2023, para lo cual está prevista la aplicación de una encuesta entre los empresarios que contratan profesionales orreguianos a fin de conocer la opinión sobre su desempeño en las funciones encomendadas.
La encuesta se aplicará también a los egresados para conocer el grado de satisfacción con respecto al sistema que los vincula con su programa de estudio y nuestra institución, así como el nivel de participación de la universidad en el mercado educativo.
“Esa información se entrega a los directores de programas de estudio, al vicerrector académico y a la oficina de calidad para la evaluación de estándares con fines de acreditación”, informó el jefe de la oficina BT, el doctor Víctor Daniel Quiñones Jaico.
Indicó que alcanzar el 80 por ciento de empleabilidad es una meta plasmada en el plan estratégico de la universidad, iniciativa estratégica que vienen trabajando a nivel administrativo en forma gradual para alcanzar el objetivo al 2026 como está trazado.
Aseguró que otra iniciativa es el incremento de convenios para las prácticas, esta labor es responsabilidad de los directores de programas de estudio, quienes son los más vinculados con los docentes de prácticas y su relación con empresas que puedan admitir a los estudiantes en este programa preprofesional.
Quiñones concluyó recordando que una función de la oficina Bolsa de Trabajo es ayudar al estudiante de los últimos ciclos a disminuir la brecha de inserción laboral a través de una serie de actividades como charlas, mesas redondas, conferencias sobre el mercado profesional, elaboración del CV y su mejora con los certificados que se le otorgan por su asistencia.
