Estudiantes orreguianos clasifican en el puesto siete de 32 universidades de América
Destacada participación. Un honroso sétimo lugar de 32 universidades en competencia obtuvo la delegación del Programa de Estudio de Derecho de la Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego (UPAO), en el XIV Concurso Internacional Junior de Derecho Procesal Constitucional, disputado en Bogotá.
El prestigioso certamen es organizado anualmente por la Asociación Colombiana de Derecho Procesal Constitucional y para esta edición la sede fue la institución superior Fundación Universitaria San Martín. El nombre del concurso fue Derecho Procesal Constitucional, inteligencia artificial y tecnologías disruptivas”. Compitieron universidades de México, Colombia y por Perú lo hizo únicamente la UPAO.
La delegación orreguiana la conformaron los estudiantes del undécimo ciclo Sol Arbulú Díaz, Giancarlos Fernández Graus y Amanda Malca Gutiérrez; asimismo, el decano de la Facultad de Derecho y Ciencias Políticas e integrante de la Asociación Colombiana de Derecho Procesal Constitucional, el doctor Raúl Lozano Peralta y maestra Claudia Mori Ugarte, coordinadora de la Unidad de Investigación y Semilleros del Centro de Servicios Jurídicos de la UPAO.
“Durante la primera, segunda y tercera ronda del concurso se realizaron preguntas de conocimientos en doctrina específica en derecho procesal constitucional, en vivo, en el auditorio, donde nuestros estudiantes lograron una destacada e invicta participación, puesto que no erraron ninguna respuesta y así lograron pasar en primer puesto a la cuarta ronda”, destacó el doctor Lozano Peralta.
La propuesta de la UPAO fue mejorar la
eficiencia del sistema judicial peruano con la implementación de la
inteligencia artificial (IA) en la emisión de sentencias, considerando que la
IA podría ayudar a los jueces en la redacción de sentencias más rápidas,
basándose en casos similares y precedentes judiciales.
Sin embargo, los orreguianos argumentaron que
la IA siempre será una herramienta de apoyo y no reemplazará la labor humana,
preservando así la experiencia y el criterio de los jueces.
En conclusión, la implementación de la IA en el sistema judicial peruano podría mejorar la eficiencia en la emisión de sentencias, reduciendo plazos y simplificando procesos, lo que beneficiaría a los ciudadanos, quienes buscan la pronta resolución de sus conflictos legales.(APB-PRENSA UPAO)
