Certamen interescolar de debate contribuye con la formación de líderes
Ya tenemos ganador. El equipo del colegio San José Obrero fue premiado como la mejor delegación del certamen interescolar de debate que organizó la Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego (UPAO), denominado UPAO MUN (modelo de las Naciones Unidas), en su segunda edición.
Durante dos días de intensos debates, los escolares demostraron sus dotes de líderes para sustentar sus ideas y aportes para la solución en problemas globales, como el empoderamiento de la mujer a través de la educación, invasión de Rusia a Ucrania, prevención y adaptación a los impactos del cambio climático y desarrollo sostenible.
Asimismo, migración irregular, prevención de desastres naturales y medidas contra el crimen organizado en la región norte. Previamente, los escolares de los 14 colegios participantes fueron preparados por diversos comités conformados por estudiantes universitarios y liderados por Juvenal Luna, representante de la Conferencia Internacional Perú (ICP). También fue premiado el Colegio Claretiano, como delegación sobresaliente.
Los colegios participantes fueron Juan Pablo II, Perpetuo Socorro, Talentos, Hermanos Blanco, Santa Rosa, Interamericano, Montessori, Los Pinos, La Inmaculada, María Negrón Ugarte, María Auxiliadora y William Harvey.
En
la ceremonia de premiación, el director del Programa de Estudio de Derecho, el
magíster Carlos Castañeda Ferradas, destacó el liderazgo de los escolares, su
pensamiento crítico y capacidad argumentativa. Como invitados estuvieron los
cónsules de Alemania y Gran Bretaña en Trujillo, los doctores Joe Rodríguez y
