Permitirá el desarrollo de actividades de formación para los programas de estudio de Medicina, Enfermería, Obstetricia, Odontología y Psicología
Con el objetivo de buscar nuevas oportunidades para el perfeccionamiento de la formación académica de sus estudiantes y egresados, la Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego (UPAO) suscribió un convenio específico con el Hospital de Belén de Trujillo.
Se trata del convenio específico de cooperación docente asistencial, mediante el cual se desarrollarán actividades de formación en pre y posgrado para los programas de estudio de Medicina, Enfermería, Obstetricia, Odontología y Psicología, de las facultades de Medicina Humana y Ciencias de la Salud.
Estas actividades sucederán en la modalidad de docencia-servicio e investigación que realizarán los alumnos; incluye, además, a los servidores de los establecimientos de salud, con la finalidad de mejorar la calidad de vida de los pacientes, fortalecer la formación de los estudiantes y mejorar el desempeño de los trabajadores, docentes e investigadores.
Mediante este convenio, la UPAO se compromete a proporcionar los materiales de bioseguridad que requieran los estudiantes, contribuir con equipos, instrumentos y materiales que favorezcan la actividad docente-asistencial, entre otros puntos.
El convenio fue suscrito por la directora del reconocido nosocomio trujillano, la Dra. Rosa Hernández Bracamonte, y los doctores Juan Díaz Plasencia y Jorge Vidal Fernández, decanos de las facultades de Medicina Humana y Ciencias de la Salud, respectivamente.
“Esta es una extraordinaria oportunidad para que nuestros estudiantes profundicen sus competencias en el trato directo con los pacientes, docentes y el personal del hospital, en un esfuerzo de nuestra universidad por ofrecerles las condiciones para que puedan realizar el internado y posgrado”, señaló el doctor Díaz Plasencia.
