La Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego (UPAO) realizó el I Congreso Internacional de Semilleros de Investigación e Innovación, cuya temática sobre ciencias básicas para el desarrollo sostenible reviste singular importancia para la formación integral de los futuros profesionales participantes.
El evento fue organizado por el Vicerrectorado de Investigación (VIN) y congregó a una pléyade de destacados ponentes de talla mundial, que ofrecieron sus experiencias y crearon espacios para la discusión científica, lo que permitió desarrollar competencias en los estudiantes miembros de los semilleros de investigación participantes.
El congreso se desarrolló bajo la modalidad virtual, entre el 24 y el 25 de noviembre. Se ofrecieron once conferencias magistrales y 96 ponencias, teniendo a trece moderadores en la conducción de las actividades académicas.
Las áreas de temática tratadas se vincularon a ciencias médicas y de salud, ciencias agropecuarias, y a las ciencias sociales, jurídicas y educación. Esto culminó con la jornada de clausura, con las conclusiones finales del evento.
La rectora de la UPAO, la doctora Yolanda Peralta Chávez, destacó la organización de este cónclave del saber y la divulgación de nuevos conocimientos, gracias a la participación de los jóvenes estudiantes con la exposición de sus respectivos descubrimientos y experiencias.
“Los estudiantes han dejado de ser solo receptores de conocimientos para incursionar en la búsqueda, construcción y propagación de nuevos saberes bajo la supervisión de sus asesores”, indicó la autoridad orreguiana.
Dijo que este espacio le otorga solidez y consistencia a esta iniciativa, que convoca a participantes de varias universidades del norte del país, así como de Ecuador y Colombia, un espacio y alternativa en los que se debe cimentar el desarrollo de las nuevas generaciones de profesionales e investigadores que necesitan nuestros pueblos.
Por su parte, el vicerrector de investigación, el doctor Julio Chang Lam, fue el encargado de las palabras de bienvenida a todos los participantes. Él se detuvo a precisar la excelente calidad de expositores y de las ponencias presentadas.
El Congreso fue organizado por la Oficina de Investigación, Ciencia y Tecnología, adscrita al VIN, y convocó la participación de un importante contingente de jóvenes promesas de investigación en los campos de las ciencias básicas, lo cual fue motivo central del congreso. (CGG/RRC - PRENSA UPAO).
