Desarrolla la segunda edición del concurso de debates UPAO MUN
Para afianzar en la
población escolar de la región el desarrollo de competencias blandas, a partir
de la investigación, la argumentación y la negociación, la Universidad Privada
Antenor Orrego (UPAO) realiza el concurso escolar de debate UPAO MUN (modelo de
las Naciones Unidades), en su segunda edición.
“La Universidad busca
incentivar el desarrollo de los futuros líderes que la región necesita, así
como generar la necesidad de preocuparse por temas de la realidad nacional e
internacional. Por ello, organizamos el UPAO MUN 2023, un modelo de debate
interescolar de las Naciones Unidas, con la participación de 14 colegios, entre
públicos y privados”, dijo el director de Marketing y Comunicaciones de la
UPAO, el magíster Rolando Morín Flores.
En esta fase final, luego
de muchas jornadas de capacitación en el campus universitario, los
participantes recibieron el saludo del director del Programa de Estudio de
Derecho, el abogado Carlos Castañeda Ferradas, quien los exhortó a demostrar su
talento y sus competencias como líderes. Luego se dirigieron a las aulas
asignadas para iniciar sus sesiones de debate.
Los temas que se
analizarán y debatirán son los siguientes: empoderamiento de la mujer a través
de la educación, invasión de Rusia a Ucrania, prevención y adaptación a los
impactos del cambio climático y desarrollo sostenible, migración irregular,
prevención de los desastres naturales en la región norte y medidas contra el
crimen organizado en la región norte.
La clausura y premiación
se realizará el 13 de octubre con la presentación de las ideas principales de
las conclusiones, a cargo de los directores de cada comité. Por último, se
presentarán a los ganadores y se celebrará a la premiación. (APB/JPLV-PRENSA UPAO)
