El proyecto fotográfico registrará imágenes digitales de la zona monumental de Piura
Un singular repositorio fotográfico del Programa de Estudio de Ciencias de la Comunicación de la Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego (UPAO), de la filial en Piura, y la Dirección Desconcentrada de Cultura de Piura (DDC Piura), busca promover la protección, difusión y salvaguarda del patrimonio cultural de la nación, en especial de la zona monumental de Piura, a través de una alianza estratégica.
La iniciativa denominada Bitácora Fotográfica de la Zona Monumental de Piura actualizará el registro de imágenes digitales de la DDC Piura, con una duración inicial de siete meses de ejecución.
El registro fotográfico está a cargo de 25 estudiantes del Taller de Fotografía II, que dicta el maestro Erick Aquino Montoro. Esta exposición considerará las técnicas de fotografía documental, como archivos para la memoria de la ciudad y criterios de fotografía arquitectónica. El acompañamiento técnico está a cargo de la arquitecta Cinthya Cotlear León, profesional de la DDC Piura.
El docente Aquino explica que la Universidad, a través de la fotografía, contribuye con la memoria colectiva y social de nuestro contexto, considerando que no existe cultura ni identidad divorciada de la memoria. “La academia no puede desconocer los avances tecnológicos, la globalización cultural, política y económica, y es la fotografía la que se perfila, cada vez más, como la herramienta más versátil y accesible para testimoniar las condiciones mutables del espacio-tiempo”, agrega el maestro Aquino.
Por su parte, la directora del Programa de Estudio de Ciencias de la Comunicación, la maestra Janneth Velásquez, felicitó la iniciativa del docente, que busca alianzas estratégicas para promover acciones de responsabilidad social; además, se mostró gratamente contenta con que los futuros profesionales de Ciencias de la Comunicación hayan aceptado este reto de poner en valor el patrimonio cultural de la ciudad de Piura.
Para el docente Aquino, “la fotografía sobre la urbe piurana nos invita a reflexionar sobre las experiencias de la vida urbana en cada uno de nosotros y del otro, para crear una imagen coherente de comunidad, de identidad”.
Proyecciones: muestra fotográfica
Se plantea una muestra fotográfica física y digital para fines de diciembre de este año, como clausura del semestre 2022-20, que exhiba los mejores trabajos realizados por los alumnos del Taller de Fotografía.
Aproximadamente serán unas 70 imágenes en gran formato, las que mostrarán el verdadero estado de conservación del patrimonio urbano de Piura, zona en la que se pretende realizar acciones de prevención, conservación y puesta en valor. (RRM/RRC – PRENSA UPAO).
