Realizó dos cirugías con esta técnica, en conjunto con su hermano, también exalumno orreguiano.
Para
logra el bienestar físico, mental y social de dos pacientes trujillanas, el
médico cirujano egresado de la Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego (UPAO) Kreisky de los Santos Rebaza realizó dos cirugías
con la técnica de mamoplastia en L. Ambas resultaron exitosas.
“He investigado y se trataría de las primeras
cirugías realizadas en Trujillo con esta técnica, es decir, de mamoplastia en
L. En conjunto con mi hermano Kleyn, operamos a dos pacientes seleccionadas:
una, con la cicatriz de la técnica anterior, la de la T invertida, en la que
solo mejoramos la cicatriz con la L, y a otra paciente, con esta técnica
completa”, indicó el cirujano plástico que radica en Río de Janeiro.
El destacado cirujano plástico agregó que esta
técnica es muy compleja y que consiste en levantar y reducir la mama; por eso,
no muchos médicos la aplican en el mundo. En esta oportunidad, los dos hermanos
egresados de la UPAO se convierten en los pioneros en Trujillo en aplicar este
método, llamado mamoplastia en L.
“Se trata de una cirugía desafiante. En Río, desde febrero
de este año, ya son más de 50 pacientes operadas. Lo más relevante es que no
solo se trata de una cirugía estética, sino también reparadora ante casos de
gigantomastias: al reducir el tamaño de la mama, mejoran la salud y calidad de
vida de las pacientes”, señaló.
Hombres con problemas de mama: ginecomastia
Destacó el médico que los hombres, al tener glándulas
mamarias, también presentan a veces complicaciones. “En este caso, se le llama
ginecomastia al crecimiento exagerado de la mama. Hasta la fecha no he operado
a hombres con esta técnica, pero sería lo ideal, ya que reduce la cicatriz. He
intervenido a dos casos de cáncer de mama en hombres, en los que se logró
extirpar el tumor y los resultados fueron satisfactorios”, concluyó. (APB-PRENSA UPAO)
