El investigador Elmer Robles Otirz diserta por natalicio del mentor de la UPAO
Orrego personifica al pensamiento creativo por excelencia. Un visionario que se anticipó a su época; por ejemplo, al constructivismo. Fue brillante por sus ideas creativas para innovar la educación”, enfatizó el destacado académico e investigador, el doctor Elmer Robles Otiz, durante su disertación por el natalicio del mentor de la Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego (UPAO).
La ponencia se denominó: Orrego en tres momentos y tres misivas. Con la pasión que lo identifica, el doctor Robles Ortiz reflexionó sobre las diferentes facetas del humanista, como político, periodistas, educador y mentor del poeta César Vallejo.
“Antenor Orrego fue un perseguido político por sus ideas y defender de las injusticas a los trabajadores de las azucareras del valle Chicama. No por corrupto, como las autoridades que nos gobiernan. Estuvo en la cárcel por decir la verdad en los diarios que escribió y dirigió”, añadió.
FRATERNIDAD DEL GRUPO NORTE
El expositor también destacó la fraternidad que existía en el Grupo Norte, entre todos sus integrantes. En ese contexto, hizo referencia a las cartas que intercambiaban con César Vallejo, con mucho afecto, como hermanos.
“En una de esas misivas, Orrego le solicitaba a Vallejo que cuide, en Europa, a su sobrino Julio Gálvez Orrego, quien se ganaba la vida como maniquí humano en las más lujosas tiendas de Paris. Posteriormente, se gestó una gran amistad entre Vallejo y Gálvez”, precisó.
La conmemoración por los 132 años del nacimiento de Antenor Orrego fue presida por el rector encargado de la UPAO, el doctor Luis Cerna Bazán. Asistieron las autoridades académicas, docentes, administrativos y estudiantes. (APB-PRENSA UPAO)
