Participaron docentes, estudiantes y administrativos en la avenida Raúl Mata, para promover la ecología
A través de la
Oficina de Gestión Administrativa, la Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego (UPAO)
realizó con éxito la campaña de arborización denominada Sembrando Vida,
orientada a promover la ecología y armonía con el medio ambiente del distrito
de Piura.
Se trasplantaron
más de 150 árboles neen o nimbo de la India, a lo largo de toda la
avenida Raúl Mata La Cruz, ubicada al costado del campus Piura de la UPAO. Cabe
resaltar que participaron docentes, estudiantes y administrativos de la
universidad orreguiana, quienes se concentraron en las instalaciones del campus
antes de iniciar con la jornada ecológica.
El jefe de la
Oficina de Gestión Administrativa, el magíster Owar Álamo Muñoz, indicó que
también se contó con el apoyo de personal de ornato de la Municipalidad
Provincial de Piura, al cual agradeció por su participación.
Asimismo, Álamo
Muñoz dijo que se gestionarán más actividades similares y que espera contar con
el apoyo de otras instituciones, sean estas públicas o privadas, para el
beneficio y cuidado medioambiental de Piura.
“El primer paso
ha sido embellecer la avenida Raúl Mata La Cruz. Tenemos en mente realizar más
campañas, con el apoyo de la comunidad orreguiana y entidades externas, y
esperamos también contar con la importante colaboración de nuestros vecinos”,
