Luis Miguel Asmat, egresado de Obstetricia, se destaca como funcionario en la Superintendencia Nacional de Salud
Embajador orreguiano. Luis Miguel Asmat Bobadilla es egresado del Programa de Estudio de Obstetricia de la Universidad Privada Antenor (UPAO), y en la conmemoración de los 36 años de creación de su alma máter afirma sentirse afortunado por ser orreguiano y servir al país como profesional de las ciencias de la salud.
Actualmente se desempeña como coordinador de seguimiento a las supervisiones a instituciones prestadoras de servicios de salud de la Superintendencia Nacional de Salud del Ministerio de Salud, en Lima. Además, es docente universitario en pregrado y posgrado.
“Formarme como obstetra
en la UPAO me ha permitido asumir de manera integral e íntegra las diferentes
etapas en mi desarrollo profesional; inicialmente, me desempeñé como obstetra
asistencial, lo cual constituyó una importante base para mi descubrimiento como
obstetra gestor, lo que me permitió asumir retos en nivel regional y nacional”,
comenta.
El destacado egresado añadió que siempre se sintió afortunado en la UPAO. “En mi época, éramos pocos los varones en la carrera y siempre me comentaban que era un clavel entre tantas rosas. Fui muy afortunado, pues mis maestros me formaron con empatía, la que aplico hoy, como una cualidad en mi labor profesional, la que me permite enfrentar desafíos en espacios de gestión y decisión”, precisa.
Finalmente, manifiesta
que tiene el mejor recuerdo de sus docentes, porque todos dejaron huella en él.
“Cada decisión que tomo, me recuerda las enseñanzas técnicas y valores que
recibí de mis maestros, que me han marcado en estos 24 años de ejercicio
profesional”, puntualiza el también especialista en diseño e implementación de
estrategias y políticas en acreditación de la salud en entidades públicas. (APB-PRENSA UPAO)
