Solo ingresarán al campus quienes sean reconocidos por el sistema de detección facial
A partir del 10
de mayo, la Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego (UPAO) pondrá en funcionamiento
el nuevo control de seguridad electrónica en Piura. De esta manera, solo
ingresarán al campus orreguiano quienes sean reconocidos por el sistema de
detección facial instalado en las dos entradas de la Universidad.
La Oficina de
Gestión Administrativa informó que se ha dispuesto, de manera obligatoria, la
toma fotográfica a todo el personal docente, administrativo y los estudiantes
de la UPAO.
“Con este sistema podremos tener un mejor control en los ingresos y salidas.
De esta manera, evitaremos que accedan al campus personas ajenas a la
Universidad sin autorización, ya que, a través de esta tecnología, se permitirá
el reconocimiento facial de los orreguianos. Todos estos esfuerzos sirven para
mejorar las garantías de seguridad de nuestra universidad”, indicó el jefe administrativo,
el magíster Owar Álamo Muñoz.
Cabe indicar que
la toma de la fotografía se realizará del 22 de abril al 6 de mayo, antes de
poner en funcionamiento el sistema de seguridad. En ese sentido, Álamo Muñoz
hizo hincapié en la importancia de la participación de toda la comunidad
orreguiana.
“Les recordamos
que la toma fotográfica obligatoria, sin excepción. Todos debemos contribuir en
potenciar la seguridad de nuestro campus”, precisó.
