Estudiantes son premiados por destacar en concursos internacionales y nacionales
Por su sobresaliente desempeño académico
en certámenes internacionales y nacionales, la Facultad de Derecho y Ciencias
Políticas de la Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego (UPAO) confirió diploma de
mérito a sus estudiantes destacados. La ceremonia se realizó en su sala de
litigación oral.
“El propósito es reconocer el esfuerzo de
nuestros estudiantes y los docentes asesores. Ellos han afianzado habilidades
como la argumentación, el trabajo en equipo y la capacidad de resolver
problemas complejos en situaciones reales. Estos logros son un testimonio del
arduo trabajo y la dedicación que desempeñan”, dijo el decano de la Facultad de
Derecho y Ciencias Políticas, el doctor Raúl Lozano Peralta.
La autoridad académica también elogió la
labor que realiza la unidad de investigación y semilleros del Centro de
Servicios Jurídicos de la Facultad de Derecho y Ciencias Políticas, dirigida
por la maestra Claudia Mori Ugarte, quien brinda acompañamiento académico y la
mejor preparación para destacar en los concursos universitarios.
Los
premiados
En el XIV Concurso Internacional Junior de
Derecho Procesal Constitucional (Bogotá), organizado por la Asociación
Colombiana de Derecho Procesal Constitucional, participaron 32 equipos de
diferentes universidades de Latinoamérica. La UPAO se ubicó entre los siete
mejores competidores, con los estudiantes Amanda Malca Gutiérrez, Giancarlos
Fernández Graus y Sol Arbulu Díaz. La asesora fue la docente Claudia Mori
Ugarte.
También fueron premiados Jonathan Bailón
Calderón, Rachid Valderrama Chuqui, Javier Mercado Pajares, Carlos Olguín Díaz
y Jorge Villanueva Cerruti, por el tercer lugar en la Primera Competencia de
Arbitraje en Contratación Pública, organizada por el Círculo de Arbitraje con
el Estado. El asesor fue el docente Carlos Álvarez Solís.
Asimismo, en el Moot de Arbitraje Peruano,
organizado por la Cámara de Comercio de Arequipa, la UPAO ganó el segundo lugar
a nivel nacional, con los estudiantes Ana Gil Chirinos, Angélica Díaz Peláez,
Carlos Ruiz Delgado, Karla Pereda Velarde y Sofía Luján Caballero. El asesor fue
el docente Carlos Alza Collantes.
