Señala el investigador de la Universidad de Granada en la inauguración del Congreso Internacional de Ingeniería de la UPAO.
Para el doctor José Luis Verdegay, investigador de la Universidad de
Granada (España), la inteligencia artificial tiene mucho impacto positivo en la
sociedad, pero se necesita que su aplicación sea el resultado de un trabajo
ético, confiable y responsable. Esto lo indicó en la inauguración del VI
Congreso Internacional de Ingeniería de la Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego
(UPAO).
“Riesgos de los sistemas automatizados de decisión” fue la ponencia que
disertó el prominente investigador, considerado como uno de los científicos más
influyentes, según el ranking de la Universidad de Stanford. El
especialista cuenta con más de 50 proyectos de investigación liderados, 29
libros editados y 400 artículos científicos publicados.
“En este contexto, en que la inteligencia artificial puede ser manipulada, surge la necesidad de proponer y aprobar una ley que garantice su efectividad de aplicación en la mejora de la salud. También será necesario que esta ayude a conseguir los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS) y que contribuya al bienestar integral de la población”, explicó el científico.
La inauguración del
Congreso estuvo a cargo del decano de la Facultad de Ingeniería, el doctor
Ángel Alanoca Quenta, y la presentación la realizó la coordinadora general del
comité organizador, la ingeniera Diana Flores Saavedra. Como invitado de honor,
estuvo el vicerrector académico orreguiano, el doctor Luis Cerna Bazán. (APB/RRC
