El COAR La Libertad y Nuestra Señora del Perpetuo Socorro quedaron en segundo y tercer lugar, respectivamente, en el certamen organizado por la UPAO
Este martes 16 de julio se realizó, en el campus UPAO
Trujillo, la final del Concurso Escolar de Emprendimiento Responsable Emprende
Cole. Desde muy temprano, los representantes de diez prestigiosos colegios de
la ciudad se dieron cita en las instalaciones del Hub Digital de la Universidad
Privada Antenor Orrego (UPAO), para exponer innovadores proyectos con
propuestas de soluciones efectivas a aspectos relacionados con la preservación
del medio ambiente y la sostenibilidad, con ideas de negocio orientadas a la
reutilización de productos y uso eficiente de recursos.
Después de una larga y difícil deliberación, el Montessori
International College (MIC) se consagró ganador del primer puesto del certamen,
mientras que el COAR La Libertad y Nuestra Señora del Perpetuo Socorro quedaron
en segundo y tercer lugar, respectivamente.
Wapsi BioFuel: un proyecto comprometido con los menos
favorecidos
El proyecto ganador del concurso: Wapsi BioFuel, de Emprende
MIC (Montessori International College), planteó la fabricación de biodigestores
capaces de producir biogás a partir del uso de residuos orgánicos como restos
de alimentos y otros desperdicios comunes generados en hogares rurales, los que
serían los principales beneficiarios de esta producción.
Los biodigestores funcionan mediante la digestión
anaeróbica. Dentro de un contenedor sellado herméticamente, se genera un
ambiente biológico activo que, por acción de microorganismos, desencadena una
fermentación anaeróbica, lo que permite la producción de biogás, además de
líquidos lixiviados, que pueden ser utilizados como fertilizantes.
Una final muy reñida
El equipo Transformentan, del COAR La Libertad, propuso como
eje principal de su propuesta de negocio el empleo de napa de plástico
reciclado para la fabricación de frazadas. Además de tener un impacto ecológico
positivo, presenta un valor diferencial muy atractivo en términos de
rentabilidad.
De igual forma, Ostreatus, proyecto de AlphaTeamPS, el equipo
del colegio Nuestra Señora del Perpetuo Socorro, captó la atención del jurado
gracias a un proyecto orientado a la producción y venta de hongos comestibles Pleurotus
ostreatus, a través de kits de cultivo empaquetados, así como hongos
frescos y en láminas listos para su cocción, lo que promueve una
comercialización sostenible.
Se reconoce el talento emprendedor de los jóvenes
Los programas de estudio de Administración, Contabilidad, y
Economía y Negocios Internacionales de la UPAO, junto con el Hub Digital UPAO,
estuvieron a cargo de las capacitaciones de los participantes; además, tuvieron
la difícil decisión de elegir a los ganadores.
