Las salas de operaciones y los servicios de emergencia son remodelados para mejorar la atención de las familias vulnerables
Salud para más personas. El Establecimiento de Salud UPAO-Florencia de Mora, próximamente, pondrá al servicio de las familias de escasos recursos económicos dos salas de operaciones y la habilitación de nuevos ambientes en el área de emergencia. Así lo destacó su director, el médico cirujano Andrés Aguilar Velásquez.
“En los próximos días
culminarán los trabajos de remodelación de la infraestructura del
establecimiento de salud". La UPAO no escatima esfuerzos ni recursos
económicos para invertir en salud, pensando siempre en mejorar la calidad de
vida de las personas y brindarles servicios de acuerdo con los
estándares que establece el Ministerio de Salud”, precisa el director.
Los quirófanos tendrán un
moderno sistema de iluminación y aire acondicionado, que permita una
operatividad frecuente para atender todo tipo de intervenciones quirúrgicas,
como cesáreas y patologías, extirpación tumores, entre otras.
En el área de emergencia
se está habilitando la sala de cirugía, medicina y ginecología, la que se
sumará a la de pediatría, que está operativa. Asimismo, en el centro obstétrico
se están trabajos de modernización.
“La UPAO está invirtiendo
más de 300 000 soles en estas mejoras, porque el equipamiento lo tenemos y en
muy buenas condiciones, contamos con tecnología de última generación, como, por
ejemplo, el ventilador mecánico portátil que tenemos en la unidad de traumashock de emergencia, ya que la
atención se brinda las 24 horas del día”, puntualizó.
Alerta sanitaria por dengue
Finalmente, el médico cirujano Andrés Aguilar informó que son nueve los
pacientes hospitalizados por dengue y que el Establecimiento de Salud UPAO-Florencia
de Mora atiende a diario a pacientes con esta enfermedad, así como también
fortaleciendo las estrategias de prevención. (APB/RRC – PRENSA UPAO).
