A través de actividades de responsabilidad social, realizadas en mencionado centro poblado
Los estudiantes del Programa de Estudio de Ingeniería Civil de la Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego (UPAO) realizaron estudios de suelo y saneamiento en el centro poblado Ejidos de Huan, en Piura. Estas actividades forman parte del compromiso de responsabilidad social de la Universidad, orientado a contribuir con el desarrollo de la comunidad piurana.
La actividad
“Saneamiento físico legal” se desarrolló en tres fases. En la primera, se
realizó un replanteo topográfico para verificar las coordenadas del perímetro
estudiado y la ubicación de las principales áreas y los usos propuestos en la
habilitación urbana. La segunda fase comprendió un empadronamiento a las
familias de Ejidos de Huan, a través de una encuesta.
Por último, los
estudiantes orreguianos revisaron la documentación que los pobladores
presentaron ante la Municipalidad de Piura (MPP) para residir en la zona. En
ese sentido, se les orientó para que puedan levantar observaciones encontradas.
Estudio de
suelos
Otra actividad
desarrollada en Ejidos de Huan fue “Determinación de la capacidad portante de
los suelos con fines de cimentación”. Este proyecto se realizó mediante la
excavación de calicatas para toma de muestras. De esta manera, se pudo realizar
la caracterización del perfil estratigráfico y determinar las propiedades del
suelo.
Asimismo, se
realizó la verificación portante del suelo y se ideó una propuesta de tipo de
cimentación, de acuerdo con la edificación proyectada para su construcción.
La coordinadora
académica del Programa de Estudio de Ingeniería Civil, la maestra Krissia
Valdiviezo Castillo, indicó que los resultados de ambos estudios realizados por
los estudiantes orreguianos fueron comunicados y entregados a los pobladores de
Ejidos de Huan, para que tengan conocimiento y puedan tomar buenas decisiones.
