Gracias a un convenio suscrito entre la universidad orreguiana y la Gerencia de Atención Integrada Cuenca, Castilla-La Mancha
Los estudiantes de
Medicina Humana de la Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego (UPAO) accederán a
plazas vacantes de prácticas en los cursos de Cirugía, Medicina Interna,
Pediatría, Ginecobstetricia e Internado Médico de la UPAO, en los centros
sanitarios del Servicio de Salud de Castilla-La Mancha (Sescam), España.
El convenio de
cooperación educativa estipula contribuir a la formación integral de los
estudiantes, complementando su aprendizaje teórico y práctico; facilitar el
conocimiento de la metodología de trabajo adecuada a la realidad profesional, y
favorecer el desarrollo de competencias técnicas, metodológicas, personales y
participativas que los preparen para el ejercicio de actividades profesionales.
El Sescam ofrecerá las
plazas de prácticas en el número, duración y periodicidad que estime oportuno,
según las necesidades organizativas y la capacidad docente de la que disponga,
y los participantes podrían incorporarse a la plantilla de la institución
española al término de los estudios.
Los estudiantes estarán
debidamente supervisados por los médicos tutores, debiendo cumplir con las
normas establecidas en el convenio, y presentarán una memoria o informe de las
actividades desarrolladas durante el periodo de prácticas.
El convenio tiene una vigencia
de cuatro años y fue suscrito por la doctora Yolanda Peralta Chávez, rectora de
la UPAO, y por el doctor José Antonio Ballesteros Cavero, director gerente de
la Gerencia de Atención Integrada Cuenca.
