Presentaron propuestas estratégicas a autoridades y dirigentes de los mencionados distritos
El Programa de
Estudio de Arquitectura de la Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego (UPAO), filial Piura, presentó una serie de propuestas estratégicas de planificación urbana, en
beneficio de los asentamientos humanos y zonas aledañas de los distritos de
Sullana y Catacaos, en Piura.
Los proyectos fueron
ideados por los estudiantes orreguianos del séptimo ciclo, durante la
asignatura Planificación y Gestión Urbana. Ellos contaron con la asesoría de
los magísteres y docentes del Programa de Estudio de Arquitectura José Labrín
Caro, Gabriela Ruiz Lachira y Analía Arévalo García.
Estas propuestas
con enfoque ambiental para mejorar el desarrollo turístico de ambas ciudades de
Piura se basaron en un elaborado diagnóstico e identificación de problemáticas.
Asimismo, se conocieron las fortalezas de las zonas, junto con el potencial
cultural, artesanal, artístico, gastronómico y turístico. De esta forma, se
pudieron generar propuestas arquitectónicas y urbanísticas en zonas marginales,
aplicando conceptos arquitectónicos innovadores.
Las zonas
beneficiarias en Catacaos abarcan a Simbilá y Viduque, así como las concurridas
calle Comercio y Plaza de Armas, ubicadas en el casco urbano. En Sullana, se
intervendría el malecón Turicarami, San Miguel de Tangarará y Ampliación Villa
La Paz.
El magíster José
Labrín indicó que se utilizó la creatividad para fomentar el desarrollo
estratégico de ambas ciudades, para obtener un desarrollo sostenible ambiental,
urbanístico y económico. “También contribuye a lograr el posicionamiento de la
ciudad en zonas marginales, creando nuevos recursos que permitan el trabajo
colaborativo y el crecimiento de las ciudades de manera planificada y ordenada.
Asimismo, se mejora la calidad de vida de la población”, manifestó el docente
orreguiano.
