Para favorecer sus estudiantes de internado de enfermería y obstetricia
Importantes convenios específicos docente-asistencial suscribieron la Facultad de
Ciencias de la Salud de la Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego (UPAO) y las redes
asistenciales de salud de Santiago de Chuco, Julcán y Sánchez Carrión.
El
acuerdo señala las pautas para la realización de las actividades de pregrado e
internado de los programas de estudio de Enfermería y Obstetricia, así como la
participación del personal asistencial. De esta manera, se mejora la calidad de
vida de los pacientes y se fortalece la formación de los estudiantes y la
investigación.
“Este
convenio potenciará el nivel educativo y las capacidades de nuestros
estudiantes, que conocerán una realidad distinta, con una experiencia directa
en el tema asistencial; también desarrollarán proyectos de investigación en
salud”, dijo el Dr. Jorge Vidal Fernández, decano de la Facultad de Ciencias de
la Salud.
Mediante
este acuerdo, las redes de salud del ande liberteño se comprometen a asignar
plazas para internos en los campos clínicos, sociosanitarios y de gestión, así
como a otorgar las facilidades para la realización de docencia en servicio y
facilitar la labor de investigación que realicen los docentes.
Por
su parte, los directores de las diferentes redes de salud dijeron estar
complacidos con los convenios, porque integrarán al ámbito de su jurisdicción
conocimientos nuevos e innovación, a través de los estudiantes que se
incorporen al internado de enfermería y obstetricia.
“Contamos
con 29 establecimientos de salud, el centro de atención mental con capacidad
resolutiva para diagnóstico y tratamiento, así como el hospital César Vallejo
Mendoza; ofrecemos los servicios de atención especializada maternal,
obstétrica, pediátrica y neonatal, así como los servicios de atención adulto en
cirugías, traumatología y emergencia”, explicó el Dr. Jorge Rodríguez Neyra,
director de la Red de Salud Santiago de Chuco.
