Las producciones audiovisuales fueron realizadas en convenio con la Dirección de Cultura de Piura
El Programa de
Estudio de Ciencias de la Comunicación de la Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego
(UPAO) presentó, en el auditorio principal del campus Piura, una serie de
documentales que mostraron al público lo mejor de las costumbres, turismo y
cultura de la región Piura.
La exhibición de
los documentales estuvo a cargo de los estudiantes orreguianos del quinto ciclo
y dirigida por el maestro Erick Aquino Montoro, docente de la asignatura Taller
de Realización Audiovisual. Asimismo, la realización de estos productos audiovisuales
se hizo en conjunto con la Dirección Desconcentrada de Cultura de Piura (DDC), institución
con que la UPAO mantiene un convenio de cooperación.
Fueron seis los
documentales presentados por los futuros comunicadores orreguianos. “Mar de fe”
trata sobre las celebraciones de San Pedro y San Pablo en la playa de Cabo
Blanco; “Tradición, arte y legado” retrata la preocupante falta de valoración a
los artesanos de Piura; “Fruto de la Bocana” es una muestra sobre los
concurridos manglares de Vichayal y sus encantos.
También se
proyectaron los documentales “Yapatera: pampa de nobles”, que nos muestra el
aporte de los pobladores afrodescendientes a la cultura piurana; “Navegantes y
hombres de fe”, que trata también sobre las celebraciones de San Pedro y San Pablo,
pero en la provincia de Paita. Por último, “Entre dunas y leyendas” se mostró
como un documental enfocado en la importancia del extenso desierto de Sechura.
La actividad
tuvo como invitados al historiador de la Cooperación Técnica Internacional Paolo
Pastori, el responsable de comunicaciones de la DDC, Edgar Ojeda Cueva, y el
responsable de la unidad de patrimonio inmaterial de la DDC, Oswaldo Purizaga
Zapata. Asimismo, estuvieron presentes la gerente de desarrollo económico de la
Municipalidad de Vichayal, Lida Zapata Céspedes, y la realizadora audiovisual
Frida Cárdenas Figueroa.
