El hospital Wálter Cruz Vilca realiza una campaña para niños de primaria.
Dientes sanos. Una exitosa campaña de salud bucal realizó el hospital Wálter Cruz Vilca, que administra la Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego (UPAO) vía convenio con el Gobierno Regional. La intervención fue en la institución educativa de primaria Salaverry.
El equipo de cirujanos dentistas conformado por Juan Ledesma, Esther Custodio, Fanny Ildefonso y Gianella Bustamante atendió a los escolares con diversos servicios, como el de información sobre la importancia del cepillado de dientes tres veces al día, luego de cada comida y de profilaxis.
“Es muy importante la educación bucal en los niños, que aprendan desde pequeños a cuidar sus dientes con un correcto cepillado, especialmente antes de dormir. Para ello, es fundamental que los padres enseñen estos hábitos en el hogar y toda la familia lo practique a diario”, comenta el cirujano dentista Juan Ledesma Anticona.
CAMPAÑA DE VACUNACIÓN EN LAS AMÉRICAS
Además de esta y otras intervenciones, el hospital Wálter Cruz Vilca realiza la campaña de vacunación en Las Américas, del 20 al 27 de abril, dirigida para menores de 5 años de edad, casa por casa, contra la hepatitis A y B, la difteria y tétano, el virus del papiloma humano, el neumococo, la COVID- 19 e influenza.
Los horarios casa por casa son de 7:30 a.m. a 12:00 .m. Por otro lado, en el hospital, la atención es de 7:30 a.m. a 5:00 p.m. Este servicio no implica costo alguno para el paciente.
Por último, para combatir el dengue, hace unos días se realizó la campaña de fumigación,
segunda vuelta, a cargo de agentes comunitarios.(APB-PRENSA UPAO)
