Centro Odontológico realizará campaña del 7 al 21 de febrero
La salud bucal es prioridad. Para garantizar una mejor calidad de vida a partir de una correcta higiene bucal, el Centro Odontológico de la Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego (UPAO) realizará, del 7 al 21 de febrero, la campaña dental y de ortodoncia Sonrisas que Enamoran, a propósito del mes del amor y la amistad.
La campaña está dirigida a la comunidad en general y consiste en brindar los servicios en ortodoncia clase II, blanqueamiento dental y sellante por pieza. Además de los tratamientos adicionales de profilaxis, destartaje, resinas compuesta y extracciones de terceras molares. La atención es de 8:00 a. m. a 8:00 p. m.
“Es importante orientar y sensibilizar a la población sobre la importancia de la salud bucal con buenas prácticas de higiene, como el correcto cepillado y uso del hilo dental. Esto permitirá incrementar la probabilidad de conservar los dientes sanos durante toda su vida”, manifestó el director del Centro Odontológico de la UPAO, el cirujano dentista Iván Castillo Rebaza.
El
cirujano dentista añadió que, para mantener los dientes saludables, es
necesario eliminar la placa dental que está compuesta por bacterias. Además,
indicó que la higiene bucal contribuye a mantener una buena salud en general,
debido a que la acumulación de sarro y placa dental ocasionan enfermedades a
