En beneficio de más de 8000 estudiantes del campus Piura
A partir del
semestre 2024-10, la Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego (UPAO) pondrá en
funcionamiento la ampliación del servicio de transporte del bus, beneficiando a
cerca de 8800 estudiantes del campus Piura.
Esta nueva
propuesta de mejora, de la Oficina de Servicios Generales y la Dirección de Administración, en el servicio de transporte modifica la ruta actual y
aumenta la frecuencia de viajes, utilizando paraderos estratégicos en la
ciudad. Gracias a ello, se podrá cubrir la demanda del servicio y, a su vez, se
vela por la seguridad e integridad de toda la comunidad estudiantil.
El bus orreguiano
hará su recorrido en el turno tarde-noche, partiendo desde la puerta lateral del
campus universitario, ubicada en la Av. Raúl Mata La Cruz. De lunes a viernes,
el transporte abarcará el horario de entre las 3:40 p. m. y 10:35 p. m., con
una frecuencia de recojo de 30 minutos, aproximadamente. Asimismo, el recorrido
del día sábado está establecido para que cubra el horario entre las 4:10 p. m.
y 9:35 p. m., con una hora de frecuencia de recojo de los estudiantes.
En cuanto a los
paraderos designados de lunes a viernes, estos son el Grifo Primax (Mega) y Oro
Negro (Real Plaza). Para los sábados, la ruta abarca los lugares antes
mencionados y se extiende hasta el óvalo Cáceres y el terminal terrestre Gechisa,
ubicado en la avenida Sánchez Cerro. Así lo informó el jefe de la Oficina de
Gestión Administrativa de Piura, el magister Owar Álamo Muñoz.
“El objetivo principal
es brindarle un servicio de calidad a nuestros estudiantes, de tal manera que
nos acercamos a puntos de mayor acceso para que tomen sus movilidades y lleguen
tranquilos y seguros a sus hogares”, indicó el jefe administrativo de Piura.
En ese sentido, Álamo
Muñoz agregó que estos paraderos estratégicos cubren la necesidad de los
estudiantes y les facilita su posterior traslado a distintas zonas de los
distritos de Piura y Castilla, así como a la provincia de Sullana.(NVR/APB-PRENSA UPAO)
