En el primer evento desarrollado en el campus por el Día Nacional del Psicólogo
La Universidad
Privada Antenor Orrego (UPAO) realizó una importante conferencia y mesa redonda, como parte de las
actividades que se desarrollan por el Día Nacional del Psicólogo Peruano (30 de
abril).
A través del
Programa de Estudio de Psicología, el evento tuvo lugar en el auditorio
principal del campus orreguiano en Piura. La ponencia principal, denominada “Miradas
al pasado y proyección de nuestra profesión hacia el futuro”, estuvo a cargo
del magíster Miguel Vélez Sancarranco, docente de psicología de la UPAO.
El ponente explicó
la forma en que se ha posicionado la psicología a lo largo del tiempo y sobre
cómo esta información sirve como base para seguir mejorándola, con el objetivo
de que se respete su reglamento y código de ética.
Posteriormente,
se dio pase a la mesa redonda, titulada “El problema ético del hombre: la ética
en la praxis de los profesionales de la psicología”, que tuvo como moderadora a
la doctora Fátima Espinoza Porras, docente del Programa de Estudio de
Psicología de la UPAO y miembro del consejo directivo del Colegio de Psicólogos de Piura (CDRV).
Como panelistas
participaron la doctora María Quintanilla Castro, presidenta del tribunal de
honor del CDRV; la magíster Judith Meza López, docente del Programa de Estudio
de Psicología de la UPAO, y el magíster Miguel Calderón Castillo, exdecano del
CDRV. Los especialistas discutieron a fondo el tema de la ética en la práctica
profesional.
“El tema nos da
luces sobre las perspectivas y experiencias de los profesionales en el campo de
la psicología. Cada panelista pudo intervenir y dar su punto de vista, y esto
genera el aprendizaje continuo sobre la ética en el crecimiento profesional de
los futuros psicólogos", enfatizó la doctora Fátima Espinoza.
